Morris H. Graff owner of Graff's One Hour Cleaners on North Washington Street died Thursday morning at Culver Hospital. He was 58. He was born June 12, 1907, son of Joseph and Sarah Graff of Brooklyn, NY. The family moved to Terre Haute when he was a child. He later moved to Danville, Ill and then here in 1958 when he began operation of the cleaning establishment. He married Eleanor L. Meirowitz Sept 23, 1934. He was a member of the Lions Club and honorary member of the Wabash Valley Council of Boy Scouts of America. He was also a charter member of the Optimists Club at Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy. Survivors include the wife, a son William A. of Danville, Ill; a daughter, Carol Jean at home; two brothers, Fred of Boston and Edward of Cincinati; a sister, Mrs. Ann Kaplan of Indianapolis and his mother, Mrs. Joseph Graff of Indianapolis. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home beginning 7 p.m. Thursday evening. At 10 a.m. Friday friends may call at the Callahan Funeral Home in Terre Haute where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rabbi Bernard Cohen of the Temple Israel officiating.
