Leonard J. Goulding of Danville, Illinois, age 79, died Sunday evening, July 12, in Lakeview Medical Center of Danville. He was a native of Danville, born March 2, 1902, the son of Edwin and Emma Robinson Goulding. April 26, 1930, he married Loretta Katherine James, who survives. A member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, he retired in 1972 after 42 years service with New York Central Railroad.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda A. Goulding, at home; a sister, Marguerite Cunningham of Covington; a brother, Albert of Pine Island, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
The rosary was recited at Berhalter Funeral Home in Danville on Tuesday evening and funeral mass was officiated by Rev. Dennis O’Riley at St. Patrick Cemetery, Wednesday morning. Entombment was in St. Patrick Cemetery mausoleum. – thanks to S
