The funeral of Robert C. Gott, formerly of Jamestown was held at the family residence in Salt Lake City, Utah at 2 p.m. May 13. The remains were interred at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
R.C. Gott was born in Montgomery County, Indiana April 24, 1841, where he lived until 1883, when he moved to Jamestown living there until the spring of 1902. Owing to ill health he then sought the milder climate of Utah which for a time seemed to benefit him. He leaves a wife, one son, Charles and two daughters, Queen and Katherine to mourn his loss.
The family were surrounded by sympathetic friends, whose floral donations were many yand beautiful. - transcribed by kbz
