Ladoga, Dec 26 - Newton Gott, aged 60, dropped dead at his home here this morning with heart failure. Mr. Gott has been in ill health the past few months but his condition was not considered serious and when he arose this morning he appeared to be in his usual health. About 9 o'clock this morning while at home he fell to the floor and died in a short time. He is survived by his widow and 3 sons. Mr. Gott was for years a partner with John Smalley in stock buying but for the past few years he has conducted a grain and feed store here. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. .
