Frankfort, Oct 6 - The death of Milla R. Gott, 50m occurred Monday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of Charles Smith south of here on St. Road 39 following an illness of several months from a complication of diseases.  She had not been strong since an operation May 12 at the Clinton County Hospital. Mrs. Gott was born May 27, 1876 in Parke County the daughter of Mason and Eliza Rice. She was married to Sherman Rice in 1893.  Following his death in 1913 she was married a year later to Austin Gott. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of this city.

Surviving are a daughter, Harriett Harrison; four sons, Robert of Frankfort; Fred of Crawfordsville and Clayton and Kenneth at home; the husband, Austin Gott; two sisters, Alpha Johnson of Logansport and Treva Collins of Hillsboro; two brothers, Leo Rice of Crawfordsville and James Rice of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Gott had been a resident of this city coming here from Lafayette.

The funeral will be held at the Nazarene Church in this city Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. Mertie Hooker. Burial will be at Waynetown = kbz

Hillsboro, Oct 5 - Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gebhart received a message Monday stating that Mrs. Austin Gott died at her home in Frankfort Monday morning about 6 o'clock. Mrs. Gott was formerly a resident of this community where she is well known.  She was the widow of the late Sherman Rice, before her marriage to Austin Gott of this vicinity. Mrs. GOtt has been in decling health for the past few years and in the late spring she underwent a surgical operation at the Clinton Hospital in Frankfort from which she never recovered.

She is survived by her husband, four sons: Fred Rice of Crafordsville; Robert, Clayton and Kenneth Rice all of near Frankfort.  The funeral service will be held in the Nazarne Church in Frankfort Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and the body will be brought overland to Waynetown where interment will be made in the Masonic Cemetery.  - kbz
