FRANK W. Gott, one of the prominent young business men of Crawfordsville and manager of the McWilliams & Kostnzer Shoe Store, died at 8: 45 o'clock Saturday evening after a short illness from influenza and bronchial pneumonia. He first contracted Spanish influenza about a month ago while on a business trip to Cincinnati but made a recovery while there and two weeks ago returned to his position where after a few days he took a relapse. Mr. Gott was born near Browns Valley Aug 23, 1885, where he passed his early life but came to this city some years ago and secured a position with the McClamroch Shoe Company where he quickly advanced to the position as manager. During this period he made a wide acquaintance among the people of the community with whom he was decidedly popular. Since the purchase of the store by McWilliams & Kostanzer he has been the manager and buyer. On June 11, 1908, he married Miss Ethel Dorsey. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Clay Gott and a sister. The father died some two months ago. He was a member of the Tribe of Ben Hur and First Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held from the home, 1211 East Main Street at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and Rev. MH Appleby will officiate. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
