NORTH SALEM – Ralph R. Gordon, 51, of Chicago, a native of North Salem, died Tuesday in St. Anthony Hospital at Chicago. He was an employe of Cory Works of Chicago and a veteran of World War II. He was born Sept. 26, 1924, a son of Frank and Lucinda McCloud Gordon. He was married to Mildred Ryan in 1959. Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Roy, Russell and Reuben, all of Indianapolis; and four sisters, Delphia Hall, Mary Rector and Hilda Brown, all of Indianapolis, and Ruth Lieja of Chicago. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Porter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Glenn Clarkson officiating. Burial will be in Barnard Cemetery near Barnard. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
