Ray Gordon, 82, of Rt. 6, Lafayette, died at 11:20 am Wednesday in Home Hospital where he had been a patient nine days.
Mr. Gordon, a life resident of the Monroe community, was born near Bowers Station. He was a retired farmer and he had also operated a garage and drove a school bus. In 1906 he was married to Zura Gant in Lebanon. She preceded him in death in 1953. He was a member of the old EUB Church at Monroe.
Surviving are three sons, Dale of Rt. 7, Lafayette, Cecil of Rt. 6, Lafayette, and Charles of Lafayette.- kbz

GORDON, Ray- Friends may call after 4 pm Thursday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Stockwell. Services there at 10 am Friday, the Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial in Johnson Cemetery. Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren survive. – thanks so much to Lena H
