It becomes our sad duty to chronicle the death of our friend and neighbor, Charley Gordon. He fell asleep Thursday evening, April 14. He had suffered for several months with consumption but bore his sickness with patience. He leaves a loving wife and daughter, father, mother and a host of friends and relative to mourn their loss. The funeral services took place Saturday morning, conducted by Elder D. C. Campbell. The discourse was delivered to a large and sympathizing congregation. The family in their bereavement has the sympathy of the entire community. - s
