New Richmond Aug 29 – Mrs. Cordelia E. Goodin, 78, died at 5:40 o’clock this morning at her home here. Mrs. Goodin was born in Parke County near Silverwood and in 1882 married Garrett Goodin. She was a member of the Crawfordsville First Baptist Church, the Troy Chapter of Eastern Star of Covington and Crawfordsville Chapter GAR. A son, Fred Goodin of New Richmond survives. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning from the New Richmond ME Church, the Rev. DE Antrobus officiating. Burial will be in Miller cemetery, near Silverwood. – kbz
