Elmdale - Mrs. Lucy Anna Goff, 83, 1ifelong resident of this community, died at 12:25 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in Elmdale. She had been ill several months. Born March 14, 1867 Mrs. Goff was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph VanCleave. She married A.S. Goff, March 8, 1891. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist church. Surviving are two sons, Homer C. Goff and Earl Goff, both of near Crawfordsville, a daughter, Mrs. John B. Miller, also of near Crawfordsville, a brother, Henry T. Vancleave, of Lawrence, a sister, Mrs. Emma C. Moore, of Waynetown, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the husband and a son. Funeral services we're held at 2 o'clock (CST) Monday afternoon at the Liberty Chapel church near Elmdale with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Rev. C.L. Airhart was the officiating minister.
