Goff - Anna Jones

Anna E. Jones was born in Montgomery County, Ind., Oct. 8, 1861, departed this life Jan. 13, 1900. She was married to James H. Goff, July 10, 1879. To this union were born eight children, seven of whom are still living. When seventeen years of age she united with the Missionary Baptist Church, four years later united with the Christian Church at Parkersburg, afterwards moving her letter from that place to this. Her funeral was preached at the Christian Church at this place Monday by Rev. Crim, of Crawfordsville. Interment was at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. She was a kind wife, a loving mother; also a faithful worker and believer in the Lord. She leaves a father, mother, husband and seven children to mourn her loss.

Anna Goff died January 13. She was 30 years, 5 months and 11 days old. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her loss. Anna was a devoted wife and a kind and loving mother. The funeral services took place at New Market Church, and were conducted by the Rev. Crim of Crawfordsville. The remains were laid to rest in Indian Creek Cemetery.
