KNEFEL LYMAN GOBEN

Knefel Lyman Goben, 67, of Rt. 2, Otterbein, father of Mrs. (Marie) William Clements of Crawfordsville, died at 10:55 p.m. Friday in Home Hospital at Lafayette. His brother, Mark Jarrett Goben, 62, of Rt. 2, Lafayette, had died just a half hour earlier in the hospital. Knefel Goben was a farmer and school bus driver. He is also survived by the widow, Marie; a son, Melvin of Lafayette; a brother, Vern of Rt. 1, Battle Ground; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Oldfield of Lafayette, Mrs. Nancy Harper of Oxford and Miss Eloda Goben of Lafayette, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services for the brothers will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Thompson and Hartzler Funeral Home at Brookston. Interment will be in Fowler Cemetery. – jlr
