LADOGA – Mrs. Alpha “M” Gottschall, 77, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., formerly of Ladoga, died Friday night of injuries suffered in an auto accident Thursday. Mrs. Gottschall was the wife of Ralph E., who died Thursday after the accident at Deerfield Beach. She was a passenger in the auto which was involved in a two-car collision. The Gottschalls owned and operated a funeral home here for 25 years before moving to Wabash. They moved to Florida in 1960. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and Tri Kappa Sorority here. Mrs. Gottschall was born Nov. 17, 1895 at Finley, Ohio, a daughter of Lora Ann Thomas and Jacob McKee. She married Ralph Gottschall on April 19, 1917. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Veva Mae Hopkins and Mrs. Jan Featherston of Boca Raton, Fla. and Mrs. Peggy Ann Mullen of 210 Jones Ave.; six sisters; a brother and eight grandchildren. Private double graveside services will be held Monday at Deerfield Beach. – jlr
