WALLACE - John William Glaze, age 81, of Wallace, died at noon Saturday, July 24, after a month's illness. A son of John and Abigail Jessup Glaze, he was born in Parke, County, May 18, 1884. He had lived in Wallace the last three years. He was married to Manda Marie Wilson at Newport Oct. 10, 1942. Surviving are: one son, Thurmond Glaze of Tampa, Fla., one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Wright of Indianpolis; one step-daughter, Lula Belle Taylor; one step-son, David Taylor of Wallace; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated and burial was in Rowe Cemetery, near Rockville. - jlr
