Kingman, IN; Troy C. Glascock, 99, the oldest resident of Kingman community and oldest graduate of Kingman HS d. 12:30 p..m Thursday, June 14, 1979 at the Americana Nursing Home in Dnavillle. He had lived on Kingamn rt 1. Glascock was a retired farmer, cattleman and hog raiser. He began raising purebred Duroc hogs in 1904 and was recognized throughout the midwest in this field. He had taught in the Fountain County schools for two years and was a former insurance agent. He was a member of Scott's Prairie Church and had served in various capcitites for the church. Born 3-14-1880 in Indiana he was the son of Francis & Fannie Cade Glascock. He was a 1900 graduate of Kingman HS. In 1904, he married Mary Elizabeth Lindley who died in 1962. Survivors include a son, Hubert of Kingman Rt 1; six grandch; 10 greats and 3 great greats. He was preceded in death on April 4, 1977 by a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Ratcliff and by a brother and sister. Services will be at 2:30 Sunday at Woodrow Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Hope Cem in Covington. - kbz
