Mrs. Fred (Clara) Glascock, well known Veedersburg resident was found dead about 6 a.m. Thursday morning by her husband. She had apparently passed away about 1 a.m. while asleep at thier home at 913 College St. Mrs. Glascock was a faithful & active member of the Veedersburg EUB Church. She attended a missionary meeting on Wednesday afternoon and had told a friend that she "felt just fine." She had not been ill previous to her unexpected death. She was the daughter of Minnie May Cox and Frank McCalment, born June 8, 1888 in Parke County. She was married to Fred Glascock November 1912 at Covington. Surviving is the husanb, Fred; a son, Gerald of Shelbyville; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Keeling, Pittsburg, Pa; 2 grandsons and 1 graddaughter; a brother, Omer McCalment, Petoskey MI; a sister, Mrs. Maude Hamlin, Holland, MI; two half brothers, Dewey & Lowell Drollinger and a half sister, Mrs. Sylvia Johnson all of Champaign-Urbana and step sister, Mrs. Goldie Minick of Stone Bluff. The body was taken to the Fishero Funeral Home and will be returned to the family residence on Friday afternoon where friends may call. ... final arrangements are incomplete.
