Hillsboro -- Charles Robert (Chuck) Glascock, 38-year-old former employee of the Journal-Review and resident of Schoolcraft, Mich died suddenly at 8 pm. Saturday in Michigan. He was a son of Charles and Mabel Dinsmore Glascock and was born near Hillsboro on May 22, 1927. Mr. Glascock was married to Marihelen Crowder May 9, 1947. A resident of Schoolcraft the past 5 years he moved there from Portage, Mich. Mr. Glascock moved to Portage from the Hillsboro area. He was employed in the advertising department at the Journal-Review for several years prior to moving to Portage. Funeral rites will be at 2 p. m. prior to moving to Portage. He was with the Portage Herald for four and one-half years and worked for the Federal Housing Administration at Schoolcraft. Mr. Glascock was a member of the Scotts Prairie Christian Church near here. Survivors include the widow and four sons all at home; Sam, Tony, Andy, and Nick. Funeral rites will be at 2 a. m. Wednesday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Tuesday. -- kbz

Hillsboro, Ind. - Charles Robert Glascock, 38, formerly of Hillsboro, died unexpectedly Saturday (May 14, 1966) in Schoolcraft. Mich. He worked in the advertising department 10 years with the Crawfordsville Journal Review, and four years with the Portage Herald in Michigan. The past two years, Mr. Glascock worked for the Federal Housing Administration in Schoolcraft where he made his home. Born on May 29, 1927, near Hillsboro, he was the only child of Charles D. and Mabel Glascock. He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1945. He moved from Hillsboro about six years ago. Survivors include his widow, the former Mary Helen Crowder, and four sons and his parents. The body will be returned to the Crumley & Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro for services.
