Donald S. Gilliland Nov. 17, 1928-Dec. 19, 1999 Donald S. Gilliland, 71, 804 S. Mill St., Crawfordsville, died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday. He was a union electrician, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 481, Indianapolis, and member of Eagles Lodge 1005. Mr. Gilliland had attended Ft. Wayne schools. He was born Nov. 17, 1928, at Crawfordsville to Leonard and Fern Koontz Gilliland. He married Carolyn Wharff on Nov. 14, 1959. She survives. Survivors include three sons, Steven, Mishawaka, Michael and Matthew, both of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Tracy Gilliland, Reno, Nev.; a brother, Robert, Greencastle; and two grandchildren. The body will be cremated. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Well Baby Clinic.
