– Lora E. GILKEY, 87, widow of Victor Gilkey, died Thursday night June 11, 1959 in the Odd Fellows Home, Greensburg. She had been ill several months. Born Jan 1, 1872 Mrs. Gilkey was the daughter of Francis and Mary Mitchell Conner. She was a member of the Freeedom Baptist Church and resident of Waveland and vicinity most of her life. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Robert Moore of Waveland; two nieces; two nephews, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Arthur, Franklin and Wallace Conner and a sister, Goldie Conner. Funeral services were held Sunday morning in the Machledt & Servies Funeral home at Waveland with Rev. McBrayer officiating. - kbz
