Waynetown Feb 10 - Elma G. Gilkey, 57 died at her home here Thursday at 1:15 p.m. She had been ill five weeks. She was born Dec 1, 1892 in Washington County the daughter of Andrew and Deborah Farabee B. Payne. She married Herman Gilkey Oct 15, 1914 in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Reed Rice of Wingate; Mrs. Robert Grenard of Waynetown and Very May Gilkey; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Quillen of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Elsie Johnson of Crawfordsville and one brother, Ervin Payne of Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the residence here Friday. Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev JM Caldwell of Indianapolis in charge. Burial will be in Waynetown cemetery. Family requests that flowers be omitted. - kbz
