ISAAC GILKERSON (Gilkeson)

Isaac Gilkeson, a former resident died in Crawfordsville on Saturday night. He was born in Parke County in 1852. He married Susan Pickard in 1879. She survives with their one daughter, Mrs. Loris Courtney. A short funeral service was conducted at the home on Tuesday at 10 by Rev. R.E. Moss. The body was then taken to Rockville, where a service was conducted at the Baptist Church by Rev. S.K. Fuson. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Heslar, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Pickard, Mrs. John Pickard, Mrs. J.M. Heslar, Will Heslar, Albert Heslar, Chester Heslar and Miss Mary Heslar attended the funeral from here. - kbz
