Rockville -- Mrs. Helen Gilderland, age 77, died at 9 a.m. Saturday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star 177 in Rockviille and Royal Neighbors Lodge. Born in Parke County July 15, 1893, she was a daughter of Ellis and Mollie Harden Pence. Surviving are her husband, Renzie; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner of Palo Alto, Calif; and Mrs. Glenda Seward of Crawfordsville; and five sisters, Mrs. Merle Stever of Mecca; Mrs. Catherine Akers of Montezuma, Mrs. Vera Smith of Anderson and Mrs. Paulin Leonard and Miss Louise Pence of Rockville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. JO Trousdale officiating. Burial in Memory Garden Cemetery. - kbz
