Ladoga- May 23- Mrs. Elizabeth Gibson, one of Ladoga's oldest residents, expired at the home of her son Silas Gibson, Sunday evening at 10:25. She was born in Kentucky June 7, 1836, and was the daughter of Archibald and Dorcas Anderson. In 1861 she was united in marriage to Joseph Gibson. Those surviving are one daughter Mahala Martin of Mt. Sterling, Ky., and three sons, Andrew Gibson of Russellville, Jack Gibson of Indianapolis, and Silas Gibson of Ladoga. Two sons and one daughter preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian church and leaves a host of friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be conducted from the home of her son in Ladoga Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with William Gill in charge. - thanks to Kim H
