Mrs. Asa Lanum of this city has been called to Crawfordsville by the death of her brother-in-law, David [Thomas] Ghere. Surviving is a son, Rholdo Ghere of Lafayette. Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at the Crawfordsville residence, 315 Binford street.

Crawfordsville, Nov 19 – David P. Ghere, 70, father of Rholdo Ghere, of Lafayette died at 6:15 a.m. today at Culver Hospital following a heart attack. He had farmer for many years and recently had been associated with a local creamery company. Born in Clinton County he married Mabel Teeguarden in 1894 and was a member of the First UB Church. Surviving besides the son are a sister, Mrs. Laura Moore, Fargo, N Dak, and two brother, Samuel T. Ghere, of Centralia, Ill and Joseph Ghere, Butler, Mo. Funeral 2 p.m. Friday at the First UB Church, Rev. John Roberts officiating; burial Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. – kbz
