Rowena R. Gerencser Dec. 6, 1934-Oct. 23, 2004 Rowena R. Gerencser, 69, Milford, died 10 a.m. Saturday in her residence. Mrs. Gerencser was a homemaker. Her memberships included Milford United Methodist Church, Columbian Reading Circle and Milford Library Board. She was a 1952 graduate of Waynetown High School and a 1956 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in home economics. She was born Dec. 6, 1934, at Hillsboro, to John and Hazel Beaver Houser. She married Joseph A. Gerencser Aug. 4, 1956. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sandra (David) Lundgren, Ottawa, Kan., and Sharon (Ben) Spiegel, Steamboat Springs, Colo.; two sons, Joseph A. Jr. (Linda) Gerencser and Gary L. Gerencser, both of Milford; three sisters, Louella (Delmar) Dean, Lebanon, Judy Gornowski, Texas, and Anita Johnson, Indianapolis; brother Larry (Peggy) Houser, Zionsville; and eight grandchildren. One sister, Carol Reynolds, died in 1971. Funeral services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Milford United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Bontrager officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford. Memorials may be made to Milford United Methodist Church
