Frances Ann Sullinger, the youngest child of Reuben and Mary Sullinger was born in Carlisle, Sullivan County, Indiana on Aug 29, 1832. Most of her girlhood days were spent there. She was twice married, the first time to Dr. William Logan of Missouri in the early 60s. He died a short time after their marriage and she was married a second time in 1869 to James Geiger of Rockville. To them was born one child, Mary. She united with the Presbyterian Church at an early age and lived a most consistent Christian life. Ten years ago they moved to Waveland from Rockville, and two years ago from here to Colville, Wash where Miss Mary has been engaged as a teacher in the public schools. Mrs. Geiger was a victim of pulmonary tuberculosis and died last Sun, Jan 23 after an illness of 5 months at that place. Nothing known in regards to funeral arrangements. - kbz

Waveland telling of the death at her home in Colville, Wash of Mrs. Frances ann
Geiger, formerly of Waveland. Her death occurred Sunday Jan 23 after an illness
of five months’ duration of tuberculosis. Mrs. Geiger was a native of Sullivan
County where she was born in 1832. She was twice married, her second husband,
to whom she was wedding in 1869 having been James Geiger of Rockville. One daughter,
Miss Mary Geiger of Colville is the only surviving member of the family. It is
thought Mrs. Geiger’s body will be brought back here for interment at Waveland.
