Gayler - Pearl Auter

Mrs. Pearl Auter Gayler of RR 1, Attica, age 86, died Wednesday evening, July 8, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara M. Branigin. She was born near Attica, March 8, 1895, the daughter of Abraham and Sena Savanah Swafford Auter. May 9, 1914, she married Albert Earl Gayler, who died June 20, 1949. Mrs. Gayler was a charter member of Fountain Christian Church, Willing Workers and Merry-Go-Round Club of Attica.
Surviving with the daughter are two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Marr of Covington and Mrs. Iva Pitzer of Attica; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Everett White officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
