WAYNETOWN — Harold H. Garner, 67, of Brownsburg, son-in-law of the Rev. Guy Tremaine of Waynetown, was fatally stricken in his home at Brownsburg at 5 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Garner was a life resident of Brownsburg, where he was a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and American Legion. He had served with the Air Force during World War II and was stationed at Napal, Brazil in South America. He retired from Allison Division of General Motors earlier this year. Mr. Garner was married to the former Bernice Tremaine November 1933 in the Wesley Church near Waynetown. Survivors include the widow; a son, John of Brownsburg; a sister-in-law, Mrs. William Logsdon of Waynetown; two grandchildren; six sisters and a brother. Services will be conducted in Jones & Mathews Funeral Home at Brownsburg at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday.
