Miss Laura GARLAND of Beautmont TX died at the home of her brother, Thomas M. Garland Friday July 4. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Beaumont. Surviving besides her brother are 3 sisters: Mrs. Mettie Garland Fisher of Marshall; Miss Mary I. Garland and Miss Rose Garland of Beaumont; two nieces and two nephews; Mrs. Bernard Clore of Waveland; Miss Esther Garland and Lee H. Garland, Hope, Ark and Rev Lloyd Garland of Union Point, GA. Funeral services were held at the Byron Christian Church Monday afternoon with burial in Presbyterian Cemetery, Waveland -- typed by kbz
