G. W. Gardner of Ladoga is lying in a critical condition at his home in Ladoga. He was unconscious all Saturday night and his death was hourly expected yesterday. Mr. Gardner was in the Monon wreck a week ago today and after the wreck, although conscious of being considerable hurt, he walked back to the city and returned to his home in Ladoga that night. Tuesday evening he took to his bed and has been growing worse ever since. He has suffered from internal hemorrhages and vomited quantities of blood. A telephone message this afternoon announces no change in his condition and his friends here are seriously alarmed.
