Mrs. Flora Madge Gantz of Albia, Iowa, died Wednesday. She was the mother of Mrs. Ned Rickett of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Gantz was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, of which she was a past matron; past president of the VFW Auxiliary; charter member of the Albia Womans Club, and a member of the First Christian Church. She was born May 2, 1890, in Union County Iowa, the daughter of Daniel and Melissa Belman Davis. She was married April 26, 1909, to Edwin S. Gantz, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Dr. St. Clair Gantz of Ottawa, Canada and Henry Gantz of Belzoni, Miss; two daughters, Mrs. Rickett of Crawfordsville and Marjorie Gantz of Albia; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Leata Elder of Albia, and two brothers, Tom Davis of Madrid, Iowa, and John Davis of Grand View, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Albia First Christian Church. Rev. Donald Plum will officiate. Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery in Albia. - jlr
