The funeral for Wayne W. Galey, 46, of 2301 W. Purdue will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stephens Funeral Home. Graveside rites will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Crawfordsville, his home community. Galey was found dead Tuesday afternoon near a vacant property he owned at 200 Pasture Lane. Coroner Gailon Stephens ruled that death was caused from asphyxiation by carbon monoxide poisoning. An autopsy was performed Wednesday. A former policeman, he was a WWII veteran, serving in the intelligence department. He leaves three daughters, Madonna, Debora and Christine; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Remley of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Arthur Friend of Darlington. Friends may call at the Stephens Funeral Home after 4:30 p.m. Friday. - kbz
