Mrs. Wesley Vanarsdal died Thursday at 12 o'clock at her home on the corner of Water and Jefferson streets. The funeral of Miss Rachel Galey occurred from the same house that morning. - kbz

Miss Rachel Galey, aged 50 years, suddenly died of heart failure at her home on the corner of Water and Jefferson streets on April 14 at two o'clock. The deceased was a daughter of the late William S. Galey and has been afflicted all her life. She leaves an estate valued at about $25,000 chiefly in real estate in this city. She left no brothers or sisters but has a number of distant relatives in this county who will come into her property.- thanks to Kim H

“Deaths” – At a few minutes before 12 Thursday Mrs. Wesley VanArsdall passed quietly away after an illness of short duration. A complication of asthma and grip caused death. For ten years, Mr. and Mrs. Vanarsdall have been making their home with and taking care of Rachel Galey who was buried at 10 o’clock that morning and on account of her sickness a very short funeral service was held -kz
