James H. Galey, prominent farmer and dairyman residing five miles southwest of Crawfordsville died suddenly at his home Friday morning. His death was attributed to heart trouble. While Mr. Galey had been in declining health for some time his condition was not regarded serious. The deceased was 72 years of age and was the son of William and Margaret Galey. He died on the farm where he was born having spent all of his life in this community. His death occurred at 9 a.m. Mr. Galey was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city and for several years had been prominently identified with the dairy industry of the county. Those surviving are his wife, one son, Harry Galey and three grandchildren. The funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at one thirty o’clock at the home with burial in the Indian Creek Cemetery. – kbz (thanks Dellie)
