Parvin L. Furr, 67, of 209 W. Wabash Ave., a retired pharmacist, died early today in Culver Hospital after suffering a heart attack in his home. Mr. Furr was employed as a druggist for Nye-Booe Drugs here for 43 years. He retired in 1973. He was a member of Wallace Masonic Lodge, Crawfordsville Elks Lodge and First Christian Church. A graduate of Indiana College of Pharmacy, he was a 1926 graduate of Hillsboro High School and earlier had attended school at Wallace. Born Feb. 21, 1908, in Fountain County, he was a son of Rowe and Grace M. Livengood Furr. He was married to Edith Hightower on Aug. 19, 1932, at Indianapolis. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Mary Beth) Duker of North Olmstead, Ohio; the mother, Mrs. Grace Furr of Crawfordsville; and two grandchildren, Deidre and Dayne Duker of North Olmstead. Two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard F. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.  --typed by Walt W
