Veedesrburg, Jan 24 - Mrs Eva Furr, former resident of Veedersburg, died at 8 o'clock Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Miss Mary Furr, in Greenfield, where she had made her home since the death of her husband, Sylvan Furr, 15 years ago. Mrs. Furr had been an invalid for the past year or more. Born in Fountain County March 26, 1862, Mrs. Furr was the daughter of Amos and Maria Booe Wilson. Her husband was a farmer residing near Veedersburg. Mrs Furr held membership in the Christian Church in Veedersburg. In addition to the daughter at whose home she died, Mrs. Furr is survived by a son, Omer Furr in LaPorte. The daughter, has been a teacher in the city schools of Greenfield for a number of years. The body was brought to Veedersburg Friday afternoon and taken to the Fred Parham Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be made in the family lot in Rockfield cemetery near Veedersburg. - kbz
