Mrs. Cora N. Furr, 63, died from complications in Culver hospital at 11 a. m. Sunday. She had been ill for several weeks. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hibbs, she was born in Vine Grove, Ky., Nov. 26, 1887. She was married twice, in 1907 to Alvin Gray and to Newell Furr Nov. 3, 1948. She had lived in Crawfordsville for 14 years, coming here from New Richmond. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Faye Paxton of Elmdale; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Brown of Rineyville, Ky., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son funeral home, with Rev. William D. Eckel in charge. Burial will be in Freedom cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz

Ray Furr and daughters, Mrs. Marie Keller and Margaret Jenks, son-in-law, Clifford Jenks and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wreatha Furr attended the funeral of Mr. Furr’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Cora N. Furr, 63, in Crawfordsville Tuesday afternoon. Burial took place in Freedom Cemeter. She was the wife of Newell Furr and died in Culver Hospital at 11 a.m. Sunday after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Furr was a native of Vine Grove, Ky, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hibbs and had been twice married. She and Mr. Furr were married on Nov 3, 1948. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had lived in Crawfordsville 14 years, coming from New Richmond. Besides the husband and a daughter, Mrs. Faye Paxton of Elmdale, a sister in Kentucky and two grandchildren survive. - kbz
