Mrs. Sally Fulwider died at the residence of her son, Jacob Fulwider, in Coal Creek Township, May 10, 1890, in the eightieth year of her age. She came from Virginia to Indiana with her husband 40 years ago and settled in Putnam County, where she joined the Christian Church under the ministry of Elder Samuel Gregory, having first joined the Lutheran Church in Virginia at the age of sixteen. After four years the Fulwider family came to Montgomery County where they have since lived. Her husband, Joseph Fulwider, died in 1875, and she has since lived happily among her children, and leaves them and her friends the legacy of a grand old age, a Christian character and a good name. Her funeral was preached at Liberty Chapel on Monday by her pastor, Rev. P. L. Ryker. Interment at Liberty Cemetery.
