Source: Crawfordsville Daily Journal Thursday, 5 Feb. 1891

Moses Fulwider died at his residence in Boone County on Jan. 31. He was seventy seven years and eight months old having been born in Augusta County, Virginia, May 20, 1813. In 1833 he settled near this city and in 1835 married Miss Sarah Swisher. Nine children were born of which six survive. Since 18_2 he has been a resident of Boone County but still has numerous friends in this county. He was an earnest member of the Christian Church. An interesting fact in regard to his early life is that he built the foundation of the Sperry Bridge and also of the first building of Wabash College now occupied by M. V. Burke.
