Joseph Henry FULWIDER, 45, farmer and well known resident of the Russellville area died at his home between Russellville and Parkersburg. He suffered from a heart ailment. He was Past Master of F & AM Lodge No 144 at Alamo, Worthy Patron of OES Chapter 313 of Russellville, a member of the Scottish Rite and a 32nd degree Mason. He was also a member of Russellville Christian Church. Born July 13, 1912, in Wingate, he was the son of Walter & May Gravitt Fulwider. He lived in the Byron Community for several years and attended the Waveland School. He married Fern Rosalie McMullen. Other survivors include 3 sons, Billy Joe, John Alvin and George Walter, all at home; a brother, Fred Fulwider and two sisters, Mrs. Vern Clore and Mrs. Lowell Simpson, all of Waveland, an aunt, Leota Bunnell of Wingate and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Byron Christian Church with Rev. John Servies officiating, assisted by Rev. Russell Myers of Russellville Christian Church. Members of the Russellville Masonic Lodge served as pallbearers, embers of the OES assisted with flowers and members of Alamo Masonic Lodge participated in graveside ceremonies – burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
