Mrs. Eva Fulwider, widow of Walter Fulwider who lived on the old Clore place south of The Shades before moving to Alamo, died on Friday in Lakeview Hospital, Danville, Ill, after being there one day for treatment for heart disease. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial at Liberty cemetery near New Richmond. She was the daughter of Johna nd Lydia Gravitt and was born in Illinoi June 22, 1888. She married Walter Fulwider at Wingate Dec 23, 1905 and died April 11. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gergiana Clore of Byron and Misses Ganynelle and Bettie Ilene at home; and two sons, Joe Fulwider of Waveland and Fred at home. One son, Orville was drowned in the creek near Raymond Greve's residence August 2, 1935. - kbz

Alamo, June 7 -- Mrs. Eva May Fulwider, 51 years old, widow of Walter A. Fulwider, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at the Lakeview hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient since yesterday. She had been ill since June 1 with a heart ailment. Born June 22, 1888 in Illinois, Mrs. Fulwider was the daughter of John and Lydia Ann Gravitt. She was united in marriage with Walter A. Fulwider at Wingate, Dec. 23, 1905, the husband preceding her in death two months ago. She was a member of the Center Christian Church, north of Elmdale, and for the past several years had been a resident of Alamo. Surviving are; three daughters, Mrs. Georgianna Clore of Waveland, and Gaynelle and Betty Ilene Fulwider at home, two sons, Joe of Waveland, and Fred at home, and a brother, George Gravitt of Waynetown. Preceding her in death was a son, Orville, who was drowned near Byron, August 2, 1935. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Alamo Christian Church with the Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery. - kbz

Alamo, June 10 -- Funeral rites for Eva May Fulwider, who passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning were conducted at the Christian church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. The pastor, Rev. John Servies, officiated. Villa Stanford and Eula Bayless sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "In That Beautiful City." and "Good Morning Up There," accompanied by Miss Agnes Bayless, pianist. The many pretty floral tributes were carried from the home to the church by the following members of the Aid society and Women's Bible class, of which the deceased was an active member: Mary Selby, Bird Fruits, Grace Lankford, Blanche Bayless, Iva Melvin, Iva Thompson, Susie Smith, Josephine Hall, Myrtle Luzader, Beatrice Melvin, Myrtle Elmore, Dora Watkins, Margaret McClure, Katie Fruits, Fannie Elmore, Louise Weir, Alice Utterback, Ada Clore, Jemima Payton and two relatives, Mae and Katherine Fulwider. Carol Jean Clore and Mary Jane Peacock led the procession. Pallbearers were Richard and Junior Gravitt, Jess Clore, Harry Luzader, Clarence Smith and Leslie Weir. Interment was made in the Liberty Cemetery near New Richmond where the husband was laid only six weeks ago. - kbz
