Wingate - Mrs. Elsie Laura Bell FULWIDER, 76, died at her home here at 9:59 p.m. Saturday. She had been bedfast for 7 months. Born in Coal Creek Twp Oct 13, 1881, she was the daughter of Thomas Wesley and Mary Frances Morris Bunnell. SHe married Oct 30, 1897 Benjamin F. Fulwider who died in July 1947. Mrs. Fulwider was a member of the Center Church, east of Wingate and taught the young people's class at the church many years. She received her early education at Patton School. Surviving are 3 sons: Robert O of near Crawfordsville; Thomas Glen and Leslie Paul, of near New Richmond; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Bell Swank of near Crawfordsville; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and two brothers, Eldon Bunnell of Wingate and Robert Bunnell of near Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the family home until noon Tuesday. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.Tuesay at Center Church with Rev. Homer Hunsinger of Seymour officiaitng assisted by Rev. Verlin Smith. Burial in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale.

-- Wingate - A short service for Mrs. Elsie Fulwider was held at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in her home in Wingate, prior to rites at 1:30 at Center Church. The pastor, Rev. Verlin SMith of Lebanon, officiated. At the church, a former pastor, Rev. Homer Hunsinger of Seymour, was in charge of the services. Among the piano selection splayed by Mrs. Hal Hopper was the deceased's favorite hymn, No Tear in Heaven, A quartette - John Mitchell, Clarence Rhodes, Leonard Pittman and Lawrence Gross, sang, Above the Bright Blue and Good Night Here Good Morning Up There. Pall bearers were nephews Jake Bunnell; Gould Kennedy; Frank Bunnell; Elmer Webb; Charles Robert Bunnell; Carroll Irvin and John McClamrock. Flowers were carried by grandchildren Carl and Mildred Fulwider; Ray Fulwider; Robert and Beverly Long; Jim and Dick Fulwider and Kenneth Swank. ALso carrying flowers were nieces May McClamrock; Ivy Kennedy; Fern Irvin; Mary Margaret Bunnell; Zetta Bunnell and Chira Bunnell. Interment made in Oakland Cemetery.
