Avery Forrest FULLER, 72, father of Marshall A. Fuller, owner & manager of the Crawford Hotel, died suddenly at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at his home in Crawfordsville after suffering a heart attack. City firemen used a resuscitator in an effort to revive him. Born April 9, 1887, near Waveland, Mr. Fuller was the son of George and Flora Quick Fuller. He married Maude E. Marshall in Crawfordsville Dec 24, 1920. Mr. Fuller was a life long resident of Montgomery County. He had lived in Crawfordsville the past 7 years. During this period he had worked as a carpenter. Previously he was a telegraph and signal maintenance operator for the Pa. RR for 30 years. Mr. Fuller was a member of the Youngs Chapel Christian Church. Surviving besides the son are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Martha l. Brown of Indianapolis and Mrs. Edna Rowder of Chicago; a brother, Bert Fuller of Elmdale and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in McCloud Funeral home, Crawfordsville with burial in Liberty Cemetery, NW of Crawfordsville, Rev. Charles McBrayer officiating.
