Waveland – Henry Newton Fullenwider, 86, a retired Waveland farmer who had been a member of the Indiana Farm Bureau more than 50 years, died this morning in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. He had been an organizational speaker for Farm Bureau for a number of years. He was also a member of the American Threshers Association, having operated a threshing machine when such equipment was used. He served as Sunday School superintendent for Freedom Baptist Church and the old Waveland Baptist Church. He was born Nov. 6, 1888, at Waveland, a son of Henry C. and Lorena Glenn Fullenwider. He was graduated from Waveland High School in 1906 and attended Purdue University. He was married to Rosalie Durham of Waveland on Oct. 21, 1912. She is deceased. Surviving are two sons; Robert E. and W. Terry, both of Waveland; a daughter, Mrs. Betty L. Banner of Milwaukee, Wis.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with the Rev. Eldon Coons officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery.
