Henry C. Fullenwider died at Union hospital at Terre Haute shortly after noon on Saturday. The funeral was deferred until Wednesday so that Glenn could get here. Rev. H.C. Sigler had charge of the service. Corta Dooley, Claude Lydick, Mrs. Sigler and Mrs. O.K. Galloway sang. The pall bearers were Homer Robinson, Frank Wilkinson, John Way, Clarence Milligan, Harry Crutchfield and Harley Ristine. The flower bearers were the grandchildren, Robert, Terry and Bettie Fullenwider. Burial at Maple Ridge Cemetery. The following Biography was read.
"Henry C. Fullenwider, son of Joseph Newton and Mary Elliott Fullenwider, was born near Brownsvalley, Jan 23, 1860 and passed away Oct 12, 1929. On June 2, 1886 he was united in marriage to Lorena Glenn, who preceded him in death, Dec 5, 1919. To this union were born two sons, Glenn of Melbourne, Wash. and Newton of this place. They with four grandchildren and one brother survive. He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church of Waveland and a ruling Elder at the time of his death. He was a highly respected citizen who will be greatly missed in the life of the community. It is characteristic of him that he desired that no eulogy be pronounced at his funeral and to those who knew him best, none is needed. Those present from a distance were H.T. Ristine, Will Burkhart, J.N. Fullenwider and W.W. Busenbark of Crawfordsville, J.S. Fullenwider of Waynetown, Theodore Johnson of New Market, Dr. C.S. Laughlin of Vineland, NJ and Mrs. Charles Hillebold of Stafford, Kansas. - kbz
