After two months of weary suffering death came as a relief to Mrs. Susan Fullen Tuesday morning. All that love and care could do proved of no avail and with no hope of recovery she bore her terrible sufferings with the greatest of Christian fortitude. - kbz

Last Tuesday at her home in Ladoga occurred the death of Mrs. Susan L. Fullen, widow of Oliver H. Fullen. Mrs. Fullen was born March 11, 1832, in Henry County, Kentucky, her father being Gilbert T. Harney and her mother, Charlotte Kyle Harney.
In 1835, with her father’s family, she removed to Montgomery County, where they settled on the old home place on Haw Creek. Gilbert Harney and his son, John Harney, died from the effect of well damps in July, 1846, and in 1856 Susan Harney was married to Oliver Fullen, who died in March, 1873. They left four children who yet survive. In 1850 Mrs. Fullen united with the Christian Church and lived all her life a firm, consistent member. She was a half sister of Judge Harney, of this city. -s
