Waynetown - Feb 9 - Mrs. Flora B. Fugate, 81, resident of this place for the past half-century, died following a three years' illness with a complication of diseases at 8 o'clock tonight at her home in Waynetown. Mrs. Fugate, who formerly resided in Annapolis and Yountsville, was born in Clarksville, Ohio on March 14, 1855, daughter of Joseph and Susan Combs Copner. She was married to James Fugate Dec 8, 1881. The deeased was a member of Waynetown Methodist Church. Surviving are the husbandf; 3 daughters: Mrs. May Cope, New Castle; Mrs. Myrtle Harper, Morocco and Mrs. Ethel Watts, Waynetown; a son, Carl Fugate, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Alice Albert, Lafayette; two brothers, Calvin Copner, Greensburg and Frank Copner, Racine Wis; 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Two daughters and two sons preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Fugate residence here in charge of Rev. Guy Tremaine. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
