A telegram was received by Mrs. Joseph Herron this morning annoucing the death of Mrs. W.T. Fry at New Philadephia, Ohio, where she has been living of late with her daughter, Mrs. Meese, formerly Miss Mary Fry. The funeral will occur on Wednesday. Mrs. Fry has been in frail health for several years. She is the wife W.T. Fry, who was for many years a citizen of Crawfordsville, and at one time superintendant of the city schools. He is now employed in government census department at Washington. Mrs. Fry was the mother of Eugene, Will, Ollie, Ben, and Rev. John Fry, all of whom were bought up in this city. - kbz

Mrs. Mary Fry, wife of W.T. Fry, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Meese, on West High Street early this morning, after a week of illness, says a New Philadelphia., Ohio paper. Death was due to complications of diseases. The funeral will be Wednesday, Oct 24th at the Sharon Church. Interment will be at Sharon. Mrs. Fry was born near Sharon, sixty-two years ago. For the past four months she had been at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Meese. She always took an active part in Church work. She is survived by her husband and six children. Mrs. John Meese of this city, E.E. Fry of Plymouth, IN., O.R.Fry of Perry, Iowa, W.F. Fry of Montgomery, Ala., J.C. Fry of Bisbee, Arizonia, and B.F. Fry, of South Bend, IN. Mrs. Fry's death was due to pneumonia but complications set in which made it impossible for the doctors to save her even if they had succeded in clearing her lungs. She will be buried at the Church yard of the famous old Moravian Church at Sharon, which is hardly a stone's throw from the little old house in which she spent her girlhood and young womanhood. She joined the Presbyterian Church when she moved to Crawfordsville, though she continued to retain her interest in the Moravian Church. All her sons were with her when she died except John, who lives so far away. Eugene, Ollie, Ben, and Will, four of her sons, John Meese, a son in law, and Charles Ramel, a cousin, acted as pall bearers. -  kh
