FANNY HOUGH FRY

Source: Saturday Evening Journal, December 9, 1882

It becomes our partial duty this week to record the death of Fanny H., the young wife of W.R. Fry. After several months of intense suffering her spirit passed to its Maker at 1 o'clock on yesterday afternoon. The cause of her death was a complication of ills which would be hard to explain. The deceased was thirty-eight years old lacking ten days, and she was the mother of two children. She was the daughter of George H. Hough, of this city, and a sister to Hannah Hough and Mrs. H.O. Fairchild, of Marinette, Wisconsin. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon, at the family residence on South Washington street at 2 o'clock, by Dr. J.P. Stratton, of Center church, of which she was a faithful an unswerving attendant. The interment will take place at Oak Hill cemetery. - thanks to Kim H
